Laura Bell was born and raised in Seattle, Washington.

She received a BA from the Evergreen State College in Olympia, WA and an MFA from the Tyler School of Art in Philadelphia, PA. Currently, she lives and works in Atlanta, GA.

Laura's work combines drawing, painting, and printmaking. The images reference the natural world and the astonishing, often unsettling beauty found in natural phenomenon is explored through the use of hybrid, imaginary, and existent imagery.
